Will, Rob, Adam & Helen embarked on an adventure to Morocco in support of the Openwork Foundation, to raise vital funds for charities all over the world. Following the earthquake in Morocco this year, we also made a last minute decision to divert some of our fundraise to help the people of Morocco with their recovery, which was very well received by the locals. The four of us raised over £12,000 to support vulnerable children and adults all over the globe and we all completed the 250km cycle over 5 days. The charity tour group said it was one of the hardest challenges they’ve ever done and we all certainly felt that in our legs and bottoms!
We would like to thank all our friends, family and clients who have supported us with donations and well wishes. It wouldn’t have been possible without you and you’ve helped make a real difference to those less fortunate than ourselves. At some points we were cycling straight up mountains for over 10 miles and at one stage climbed to over 3000m in a gruelling 3 hours of constant climbing on steep gradients. The team got their heads down and endured the difficulties (plus some very questionable accommodation) and had a great deal of laughter and camaraderie along the way.
We have put together a video slideshow of our adventure and we’d love you to take a look!
